facebook's Meta Logo Turns Out to be M-Sense Plagiarism?

Facebook Inc has finally officially changed its name. The parent company that has been overseeing Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, et al has officially changed its name to "Meta".

The name change for Facebook Inc was announced directly by the company's founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, at the annual Connect conference held on Thursday (10/28/2021).

Meta itself is taken from the Greek which means 'beyond' or beyond, this name also refers to the Metaverse, a new virtual world that is more sophisticated than the internet today.

"(Facebook) is an iconic social media brand, but it's becoming less and less representative of everything we do," said Mark.

The rebranding is expected to strengthen the social media giant's position in the new world of the Metaverse, which Zuckerberg sees as the future of the internet.

Please note, this name change does not apply and does not affect the names of social media products that are under Meta.

The name Facebook will still be used for his social network as well as Instagram and WhatsApp.

In addition to changing the name, Facebook also changed the company logo which was originally an image of 'likes' or 'thumbs up' to 'The Blue Infinity' for Meta which has not been officially published at this time.

Interestingly, it turns out that the Meta logo is quite similar to a company that focuses on digital health in Germany, namely M-Sense Migraine.

The only visible difference is the color. The Meta logo is blue while the M-Sense Migraine is green.

meta vs sense??

Even the official M-Sense Migraine Twitter tweeted about the similar Meta logo.

We are so honored @facebook to feel inspired by our app logo, maybe they will also be inspired by our data privacy procedures, the account tweeted.

This is also widely discussed by netizens, on various platforms such as Twitter, Reddit, to LinkedIn.

Until now, Facebook has not responded or given a statement regarding this matter. Do you think the logo is similar or different?
