During court proceedings between Epic Games and Apple, loads of potential high-profile collaborations with Fortnite were revealed. While some of them were scrapped, others have since come to fruition, like Lebron James and Ariana Grande.
One of the most exciting teasers on the list was the legendary manga and anime series Naruto, which is a crossover that players have been requesting for ages. Well, after months of teasing, Epic have confirmed that it’s finally on the way!
Below, you’ll find everything we know about the Naruto collaboration in Fortnite, including a confirmed release date and all the leaks that have surfaced so far.

Epic Games have confirmed that a collaboration between Fortnite and Naruto Shippuden is finally on the way, with skins and matching cosmetics launching on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

how much the skin
No information on price has been confirmed, but if we look at previous big-name crossovers, we’d expect the Naruto skin by itself to cost around 1,500 V-Bucks, with the matching cosmetics varying in price.
It’s likely that there will be a bundle, too, which will feature the Naruto skin as well as cosmetics like gliders and back blings. These typically cost anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 V-Bucks, depending on the contents.
Kakashi, Sasuke & Sakura skins also coming to Fortnite
It’s not just Naruto coming to Fortnite – promotional material shared on social media has teased that players can expect to see Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura all get their own skins in the game, too.
It looks like they’ll all have their own matching cosmetics like back blings and pickaxes, which you can see in the tweet below.

will naruto be a boss fight in fortnite?
According to leakers, Naruto won’t just be a skin that you can purchase in Fortnite – he’ll also appear as a boss fight on the map. Even more exciting, it seems like he will have an Explosive Kunai Mythic weapon.
A tweet shared by HYPEX featured stats for this Explosive Kunai, including a maximum throw range of 300 meters, and a cooldown of four seconds. The boss is currently referred to only as ‘HeadbandK’.

naruto in fortnite leaks
More leaks gave a glimpse of what to expect when Naruto comes to Fortnite. It started on October 16, when HYPEX shared information about a new NPC with the codename ‘HeadbandK’ that was added in the v18.20 update.
A bowl of ramen was also added to Creative Mode, which seems a little obscure to not be linked to something bigger. Naruto fans know the beloved ninja loves eating ramen, so this has caused even more hype for his arrival.

It’s also been reported by leakers that Epic have signed a deal with Shueisha, the Japanese publishing giant that produces Shonen Jump and part-owns western manga distributor Viz Media.
If this deal turns out to be true, it could also open the door for crossovers with other manga/anime series like Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, and more.
