Eradicating Cheaters, Fall Guys Turn Off Steam Family Share!

Even though it comes with a fun concept, Fall Guys can't seem to be separated from cheaters. This is because the number of users of illegal programs has increased drastically in the last few days.

No doubt, this makes the comfort of players to be reduced and interfere with those who want to enjoy this game. Knowing this, the developer took steps to turn off Steam Family Share.

According to him, there are several reasons why they decided to turn off the feature.

Mediatonic Trouble Detecting Cheaters Fall Guys

Mediatonic as the developer of Fall Guys said that there were still weaknesses in the game system. Because, they can only find out that the player is using an illegal program at the end of the game.

For that, they are trying to update their detection system so that cheaters can exit right away even during the minigame. Meanwhile, Mediationic has turned off the Steam Family Share function, which is reportedly a hotbed for Fall Guys hackers.

The developer said that many of them used this function to avoid getting their main account banned. Mediationic said that players whose backup accounts were banned can still create new accounts to use illegal programs.

Fixes for this Game Undisclosed Mediationic

Talking about this, based on information from Gamerant, the developers of Fall Guys did not reveal the details of the improvements they made to avoid cheaters.

The presence of cheaters in Fall Guys itself is already predictable. This one game is indeed booming and certainly does not escape cheaters.

The cheats in the Fall Guys game have a variety of actions, ranging from annoying ones to those that can make it easier for them to win the game.

They have special traits such as their super-fast running, the ability to levitate to avoid obstacles, and much more.

Of course, Mediationic as the developer has their own reasons why they don't reveal the details of the fix for Fall Guys. They considered that information leakage could be a gap for users of illegal programs later.
