Relayer – Interesting Strategy Mecha Game Shows Release Date

Do you still remember the legendary studio Kadokawa Games? Yup, after disappearing from the surface for quite a while, this time they are back again with the announcement of their newest game. According to the information circulating, this time their game, entitled Relayer, finally showed a new release date.

Was announced in February through the Tokyo Game Show 2021, Relayer managed to become one of the games that appeared quite surprising. How not, the game comes with a Turn-Based RPG formula complete with a mix of Mech Battle themes. More than that, the game also offers "New Age Space Opera" which means it carries a more personal story than the usual Sci-Fi.

Kadokawa Games Reveal Release Date of Relayer

Initially, they planned to release this game in 2021. For no apparent reason, Leopard Entertainment as the publisher decided to postpone it until March 24, 2022. This also applies to the Japanese version which must be delayed and will launch together with the Global version later. Interestingly they even show off the price of the game, which is 60-80 USD depending on the edition.

Continuing this, the Studio also ensures that Relayer will support both Japanese and English. Moreover, they didn't forget to show a 2 minute gameplay video showing the mechanics. As expected, this game really focuses on your calculations and decisions when taking action. Games like this are certainly very suitable for gamers who like to hone logic.

Ready to Launch in 2022

Relayer will be set in 2049 where humanity has created civilizations on the planets Jupiter, Mars, and the Moon. At the same time he also met an ancient Alien civilization that made humans gain the power called Starchildren. Unfortunately, humanity is under threat of attack from another Intergalactic civilization called the Relayer. From here the humans formed special forces to fight them.

For those of you who are impatient, Relayer will reportedly be released on March 24, 2022. You can access this game on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch platforms.
