Slitterhead, New Game from Bokeh Game Studio

Bokeh Game Studio has announced Slitterhead, a new action-adventure game that will collaborate with Akira Yamaoka (the composer of Silent Hill).

Slitterhead Brief Description

Through The Game Awards 2021, the trailer for the Bokeh Game Studio game shows locations located in Asia. After that, various people's heads suddenly turned into disgusting creatures.

We'll likely be playing as someone battling the transformed skeleton monster earlier, though it's hard to say since the game is still in early development.

Through the Bokeh Game Studio Twitter account, Keiichiro Toyama, the studio's CEO, said it was too early to "reveal more details about the game". Toyama advises his fans to use their imaginations for things to come.

"While it's too early to reveal more details about the game, we've already revealed our current ideas in this short film," said Toyama. "For now, we hope you enjoy the teasers of our games and use your imagination for other things to come."

Toyama continued, “Although our team is far from being as big as what you might call an AAA scale team, I think we have built a balanced team that works with a sense of unity while maintaining a big picture perspective. So we hope you're looking forward to our first game."

Toyama later added that Slitterhead would still take some development time before the announcement of its release date. For now, they will be announcing the employees of Bokeh Game Studio and how the production of the game is going.

"Unfortunately, it will be some time before this game releases for sure," said Toyama. “Until then, we will share content such as how the production went and introduce our staff members via our social media platforms. So we ask for your patience as we continue to work on this game.”

But some time ago, through an interview with IGN Japan, Bokeh Game Studio had targeted Slitterhead for release in 2023. For now, we'll just have to wait for the official announcement from Bokeh Game Studio.
